THE WEST END

A large percentage of Vancouver’s gay population lives in what is locally known as the West End. This is a fantastic place with one of the highest urban densities in North America located within easy walking access of sandy beaches, natural rainforest, seemingly endless kilometers of roller lading, cycling, jogging and walking paths, all with incredible mountain views.

As well, there are 24 hours restaurants, 24 hour supermarkets, coffee shops and more. It is also home to some of Vancouver’s most popular gay pubs, eateries and dance clubs. The heart of the West End is known as the Davie Village where the rainbow banners on the street posts let you know you’ve reached home base.
