Free copies are available in print at the Tourism Vancouver Visitor Centre, the BC Visitor Centre at the Peace Arch on the Canada/U.S.A. border, at various locations throughout Davie Village, other parts of Vancouver and beyond.
Tourism Vancouver's highly successful "Dine Out Vancouver Festival" runs January 16 through February 1, offering excellent opportunities to try out set menus at a wide range of the city's most popular restaurants.
PuSh International Performing Arts Festival, is one of Vancouver's signature annual events, "Bullet Catch" and "One Man, Two Guvnors" are features of the new winter lineup has for the Arts Club Theatre, Theatre Sports have a full schedule of Comedy Improv or Improv Test Kitchen, and check out The Cultch and Zee Zee Theatre, to see What's On and coming up. Also amazing exhibits are on right now at the Maritime Museum, Bill Reid Gallery and the Vancouver Art Gallery, including "Forbidden City" which is now in its final week.
"The Tragically Hip","Bob Seger" and "Fleetwood Mac" are just a few of those on the calendar in the weeks ahead and now is the time to plan ahead to match a holiday with tickets for "Neil Diamond", "One Direction", "Bette Midler","John Mellencamp" and "Taylor Swift", all of whom are coming to the city in the months ahead.
Of course, there's lots on the calendar in Davie Village and other venues around town, as party animals line up for "Tuesdays @ Celebrities", "Cocky Thursdays" and Peach Cobblah's "Shame Spiral" at 1181. "Liberace Thursdays" at Celebrities has a ever-changing list of special guests, nightly DJ's spin at the PumpJack, "Helicopter Thursdays" take it all off and the always popular "Absolutly Dragulous" Show is at at The Junction. "Queer Prov" is back with their hiliarious comedy nights, now at 1181 and "Monroe Saturdays" is on at Heaven's Door. The Cobalt anchors the East Side, with a whole new series of events, including "Hustla: Beach Body" and more.
"Joan - Eleveneightone" and "Show Tunes" is on at 1181, Karaoke Box is on every night upstairs at Numbers Cabaret if you want to test the vocal chords and The PumpJack's grand scale expansion has added another dance space to Davie Village.
There's a full lineup of January events on the calendar right now and now is the time to start finalizing plans for "Whistler Pride and Ski Festival", which includes 8-days, 65-events, 26 nations, 3,000+ guys and gals, 8,171 acres of pure skiing/riding bliss at Whistler Whistler Blackcomb Guest DJ's include: Ivan Gomez, Phillip Bhullar, DJ Seth Cooper, DJ Pornstar, DJ PAULO and Nick Bertossi!
